English teachers
Team Lingue s.r.l. requires teachers:
- to be qualified (Minimum standard is CELTA or CTEFL equivalent – 120 hours min. of training including min. 6 hours’ observed teaching practice)
- to have a EU passport and to be eligible to work in Italy
- valid, clean, European driving license – own car is a plus
- language level C2
- to teach a range of courses to include all ages, levels and course types, including large classes in state school.
- to represent International House Team Lingue values: to be available for training opportunities, to network with teachers who share the same values and teaching quality standards, to strive to make lessons engaging and fun, to be proactive, innovative, enthusiastic.
- to keep up-to date with what is happening at IH Team Lingue Merate, Como, Lecco and Sondrio through staff meetings, our website, social media, newsletters, emails and other forms of communication.
- to teach courses on and off-site and to travel where required
- having competencies of subjects other than English is a plus, as we teach a range of CLIL lessons, and organise labs of various types.
